Baby On the Go!

Mommy and Ella all ready for a walk.
I love the concept of the baby carrier.

Benefits for Mommy:
  1. No bulk of the stroller systems! Makes it so easy to move around with baby in tow.
  2. A fantastic way to get some fresh air and exercise. What new mommy doesn't want to fit into her pre-pregnancy clothing again? (Although some of my maternity pants were awfully comfortable).
  3. Bonding time with your baby by holding her close to your body. There's no better feeling than having your little peanut snuggled up against you.
 Benefits for Baby:
  1. Babies are soothed and supported in a natural way that reminds them of the womb; they can hear the familiar rhythm of your heartbeat and rock and sway with you as you walk.
  2. Baby carriers provide a safe place for your little one to explore the world with you.
  3. Encourages bonding and enhances learning development.
I have a Chicco UltraSoft Infant Carrier. So far I like it, however, I find it a little challenging to gracefully get Ella into the carrier. I know a lot of people swear by the Baby Bjorn Comfort Carrier. If you use a baby carrier, what brand do you use? Do you like it?

Kisses in the carrier.

  1. I have heard wonderful things about the Ergo! :) I used the Bjorn for the first few months but I had a little trouble with mine. Lots of backaches, I don't think it distributes the weight as well as some of the other carriers, though some people love theirs!

  2. We use the Ergo for quick trips but when J was a tiny little one like E, I think the best was the Moby! Soft fabric, tight and safe infant holds.

  3. Love Ergo :) But any carrier that holds baby close is best :)

  4. These were only coming in when my two were this size. Always thought the concept was a good one and made getting about in the early days a much easier proposition. Am now way past the need for such equipment, but hope you all continue to enjoy being close to your little ones.

Saw your post on the Etsy forum page about blogging, and as I'm told one can also self-promote, would like to invite you all to visit my blog at www.ColdhamCuddliescalling.blogspot.com - as well as my shop at www.coldhamcuddlies.etsy.com. when you have a moment. Think you might enjoy the experience(s) and look forward to any comments. All the best.
